This silicone grease is polydimethyl siloxane fluid thickened with silica clay. Has good dielectrical quality, is water resistant and has an operating temperature of -40degC to +200degC. Shear stress causes temporary loss of viscosity followed by recovery of structure and viscosity. This quality is of use where there is need for lubrication or protection from dust, moisture, other chemicals or corrosive chemicals. Does not adversely affect plasticisers and elastomers and therefore is good lubricant for plastics and rubbers. Use for 'O' rings, push-fit fittings, taps & valves
